I can't figure this site out. How do I figure out/contact/order art from these people?
Am I missing something? I must be, because it seems so impossible. I can't find people. I can't figure out who is available to commission and what prices are.
Well, in my experience on DA, you usually end up watching people that happen to have commissions, or you hear about a specific person who offers commissions.
If you're looking for people advertising, or even want to advertise that you're hiring, I recommend the Job services forum (http://forum.deviantart.com/jobs/services/) or the Job Offers Forum (http://forum.deviantart.com/jobs/offers/)
Also, VirtualPetList.com (http://www.virtualpetlist.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=5b0e258f7590430b7b1f0ea46d55412f&f=28) has some really spectacular artists open for commissions, and even just selling pre-made art :3
