Ok we're going to call it to there for right now gang. Corlanna even graciously doubled up for a few people so we've taken on even more than advertised =D

I think we will probably put a system into play that allows for more breedings, I hope, very soon. Let us get to work on these foals and then we'll open up a few more slots for people for this same season who haven't gotten anything yet.


Wildfilly in the staff breeding thread there is a post from me letting you know that the staff bribes are different and will get done regardless of whether or not a slot is full since it will probably take us a while to come to a decision on that front.

Sure Winged I can reserve you a slot. We are discussing doing breeding a little more like Feli where you can turn in a request at anytime and we'll just continually plug through the list so let us know about what you all prefer too.

I think this might work for you, but I've a question if you decide to switch.

Would each sibling have a separate breeding request list, or would it be one combined request list and whomever has the time at any given point works on helping "birth" the foals?

For example, if it is separate lists, and I had a request in for a Raeris slot, but he becomes super busy and can't find time to do anything with his list for a few months (just an extreme example), would I have to wait for my Raeris slot to be completed before I could request a slot from one of the Sisters, or would we, if breeding is done this way, be allowed to have our names added to each siblings list, and then have a breeding done as each one gets to our names?  Or, would it be a combined list, we post to have our names added to the waiting list, and whichever sibling gets to our name first does our breeding?

It would most likely be one combined list and we would all plug away on it as we went along. If you really have your heart set on one particular sibling then I think we'd add a field for that that you can fill out, but it would be more of a preference than a 100% guarantee, but that's just my initial gut reaction to how I think it would work best.

That does sound good then   The only reason I tried to pick who helped this time around was 1. I wasn't sure if we were meant to and didn't want my forms to be invalid and 2. I for some reason thought all my Elenaria friends were sung down by Corlanna except the boy.  I wanted to have some Elenaria friends from all 3 siblings lol

Raeris has been scanning the woods, waiting for the first signs that the Elenaria are returning from their mating. Hearing a rustle the man turns, just in time to see Euphenia and Ruathar appear, carrying a gleaming white star egg between them. The man carefully takes the egg and wraps it in a shawl.

But wait! As he turns to go back inside Euphenia knickers loudly, nudging his shoulder and then using her brilliant green horn to point back into the woods. He pushes a shrub aside and there, hidden in the brush, is a SECOND egg!

TWINS!



After settling these two eggs the elven man hears some strange beautiful song coming from the woods. He follows it and discovers Midnight's beautiful Fantasy mare in a last moment with a never before seen roan. The stallion's red eyes blaze fiercely and protectively before he vanishes back into the dark. She turns and laying before her is a shimmering twilight star egg.

Saevia appears, carefully holding a smokey black egg as Caoimhe and Ruathar following.  She smiles at Kadana and blushes brightly.  "Oh, dear, I'm so sorry.  It seems like Raeris and I got our songs mixed up a bit!  Caoimhe and Ruathar's duet went off without a hitch, though, so I hope you don't mind that I sang for them instead!"

The elven maid returns, accompanied by Ru'voni and Il'atria, both of whome look quite proud of themselves.  The girls smiles brightly.  "This has been a lovely duet, as well!  I do hope you enjoy it!"

Saevia comes in wearily but with a large, bright smile on her face.  She's paced by Ama'ihel and Arro, both of who watch the elf very carefully, obviously working to make certain that she takes care with her precious burden.  Balanced carefully in her arms is not one, but two golden eggs!

"Congratulations, identical twins!" Saevia exclaims happily.  She looks worn out from all of the music today, but overall quite pleased!

The elven maid returns again, following behind the large blood bay stallion and the blue dun mare.  When she steps around them, her burden is made visible.  "Good morning," she sings out.  "We had a lovely duet this morning."  She carefully puts down the bay egg.  "Phew!"

Saevia returns again, humming beneath her breath with a smokey black tobiano egg in her arms.  The proud parents pace along after her, returning to their owners happily.  "And another delivery!"  Saevia smiles happily and presents the egg for inspection and admiration.

I'm sooo happy with my two eggs. They're beautiful! I can't wait to see what they hatch into. And I love that they're so different! I'm leaning toward the smokey black as my favorite but I'll have to wait to see what happens when they hatch. X3 They both turned out female, so I'm glad I used a clover on my other breeding.

Ah'iat certainly was a busy man this season! He's giving me a look now that says "And what's wrong with that?" lol.
