Well, now that I've finished the raffle... it seems like next up is breeding season o.o


Allllrighty. Breeding season.

To read about breeding season, please see the thread in the Breeding area.
This thread will explain all of what you need. It is where all breedings, kitten claimings, and etc. will go.

If you need help or are confused, read through it. If you don't understand, PM or ask in the thread.

Because of the number of gryphions out there now, and the lack of time I'm going to have in a month, I might be growing kittens a tiny bit early. Yeah.

Breeding season at this point to meant to start this Weekend. It will close a week later. If you won a gryphion from the raffle, and you want to use it in breeding season, you must have it in your owners folder. That means you must decide if you are trading it or not. If you are trading it, you can't breed it. It's not yours to breed with.

If we seem to have not enough feathers out there for people to use, I may have a few contests with feathers. I'll be giving out feathers for the banner contest, which ends when breeding season starts, so if you need a feather, I'd atleast try that Check rules in old thread, post banner in this thread.

Keeping/Naming/Trading/Gifting.

Alrighty. If you like your prize, and you want to keep it, I'll be putting them in your albums slowly but surely. If you have a name picked out, please post a name in RED along with the ID or the prize number.
If you don't have a name picked out, but you're 100% sure you are going to keep your prize, please just post that you are keeping prize number # and then I'll just add it to your album and you can let me know on a name later.


If you don't like your gryphion, or for whatever reason want to trade it or give it away, just post the prize number or the ID number, along with the new owner, and I'll sort things in albums.

To name a gryphion you've been gifted/traded, please err... wait for this madness to be over. Once the time limit is up for trading, I'll accept names for traded gryphions.

I do not want any trading/gifting discussions here in this thread. I suggest in a trade thread, or somewhere else, but not here. I'll lose important stuff while looking through all the unofficial trade stuff.
Only post that you are trading or gifting your prize here and you are positive about it. Once you post it, DON'T EDIT. It's a done deal once it's posted.

If you don't get your end of the bargain, pm me. I will see if I can do anything, but understand I may not be able to do anything.

Thane dashes back to the park and holds out his wing to the lady, the way a gentleman would hold out his arm. With a nod of his head, he indicates that he would love to escort her back into the action!

Majesty has definitely caught Jasmine's eye with his flirting now. She cocks her head to the side and churrs a little, but it seems unsure and shy. Jasmine was happy to be bonded and now thought she was ready for breeding season, but now that she was ready to look for mates she realized she didn't really know what to do. In addition to that...

Jasmine looks behind her towards Jojo and makes a little side-to-side motion with her head. Jojo raises her hands. "Okay, okay, I got it. A little privacy for flirt-time, got it." Jojo turns and looks around her to see what else is going on. She had told Jasmine she had wanted to play Gryphion tag. It had been a joke, of course, but Jojo figured she might as well ask. Hopefully others don't take it seriously, and take it as a conversation instead. But if a game of Gryphion tag really started, well... it might be fun.

"As long as they keep their claws in. And don't swat really hard," Jojo says under her breath. "Tag, anyone?" Jojo says out loud, admittedly half wondering what tag with Gryphions would be like.

Majesty purrs happily to have Jasmines attention. He reaches down and plucks a lovely wildflower, as he had seen humans do, and carries it in his beak to her. Not wanting to make her any more uncomfortable, he arches his neck so he looks very regal while still avoiding eye contact, and sidesteps towards her, swishing his tail playfully.

While Thane is waiting for his green and white girl to decide to accept his offer of an escort, he decides to re-kindle the game of tag at Jojo's request. Seeing her worry about claws, and especially aware of his own battle claws, he sneaks up behind her and nudges her shoulder with the top of his beak. Once she notices him, he waggles his ears in a taunt, then dashes off, looking back over his shoulder now and then to make his intentions clear.

The green female (from the previous thread) sees Thane and runs after him. Jojo and Thane were running in a new game of tag. The female looks to see her friend, the albino, has bonded already. She was happy for her. The female looked back to Jojo and Thane. It seemed that Jojo was it. The female ran for Thane.

Fiaell is excited to see the game has started up again, and she darts in with a happy chirp.  She winks at Jojo then tweaks Thane's tail.

Caedmon follows sera more sedately and watches the game with the interest of an audience member, not a participant.

Jasmine takes the offered wildflower in her beak, and smiles at Majesty. Being a bit of princess, gestures like these were impressive to her. She watches as he struts in front of her and sidesteps closer. What a gentlegryphion! She returns the gesture by stepping closer to him as well, no longer shy. She looks up at him and bats her eyelashes.

Jojo makes an "oof" sound as Thane nudges her. Turning around, she sees the gryphion rush off, taunting her. "Alright, you want a game of tag? You got one!" she exclaims, rolling up her sleeves. She then proceeds to run off after him. The green female that had come with Jasmine joins in. "You too, huh?" Jojo observes. The green female seems much closer, since she had just joined in, so Jojo turns on her heel and runs after her, stretching out her arm to try and tag her. From the corner of her eye, she sees another gryphion join in as well. "Man, there are so many of you!" laughs Jojo. "I might have bitten off more than I can chew here."

Thane laughs an odd chirpy laugh to see everyone in the game. Then he notices his lovely green "secret crush" has arrived, and stop to gape at her as the sun catches her just right and makes her shine. The problem is, he forgot that he was running full speed when he stopped to stare, which leads to him tumbling headlong into her! In an effort to make sure he doesnt accidently scratch her with his claws, he goes face-first into her wings. He sure is a clumsy oaf around pretty girls!!

The green female goes tumbling with Thane when he loses his footing. She didn't blame him, though, battle claws looked rather difficult to run in. She fell down and started laughing, even though the large light red gryphion was on top of her.

Alright, so... last night I had trouble falling asleep. I was dearly missing friends I havn't seen for five years, and watching them grow up and be popular as I look at facebook... it just really made me sad. Those were my best friends who moved five years ago. And they don't talk to me at all. It's sad.

Somehow, after sitting in my bed, thinking about it, I guess I fell asleep. And I had the straaaangest dream. I was a part of the end of one of my favorite series. Whoever guesses first will win feather. Then, once someone guesses the series, we'll have someone guess what I was a part of. Yeaaah. It has nothing to do with me missing friends. I just thought I should add that.
