Am I allowed to submit another breeding request? Or should I wait? I don't intend to submit another just yet as I'm still trying to decide what to with my current foal.... I'm just curious.

There's no time limit right now. Just be careful about overbreeding any one horse.

However, I am not too fond of the new system.
Old system:
If you mention one correct phenotype: 3 points (owner), 2 points (foal)
If you mention two correct phenotypes: 6 points (owner), 3 points (foal)
If you mention three correct phenotypes: 10 points (owner), 5 points (foal)

New system would give you 3 or 4 points if you're lucky enough to pick a combination that can give such a detailed outcome and get all of them right as well. I think the more realistic outcome will be 1 or 2 points almost all the time. So I don't think that's really fair. I do get the point of trying to stop people from getting lots and lots of points, so maybe you should just give 1 point for each correct phenotype and say you can't get guess more than 4 phenotypes? I think that would work a lot better.

Foal #213 and #214 were swapped between luv and me, so I know own #213. He had 2 points and those are now reduced to 0, I'm a little bummed about that. And I don't get why both of my foals have 2 points and luv's foal has 0. If you'd use your new system mine should have 1 and luv's should have 0, if you'd use the system I suggested mine would have 2 and hers would have 1.

The old point system is still in place. The only difference is that I've replaced the clause that "one wrong phenotype means you'll always get 0 points" to "one wrong phenotype cancels out one right phenotype." So if you guess three phenotypes and get two right and one wrong, it's the equivalent of getting one right, which means 3 owner points and 2 foal points. If you guess four and get three right and one wrong, it's the equivalent of getting two right, which means 6 owner points and 3 foal points. Etc.

In regard to #213, those points were never permanent. Back in those days, he would have had 0 points for having any guessed phenotype wrong. I just took note of the "points" for when I'd be reworking the system.

You got 2 correct and 1 incorrect for both of your foals, which equates to getting 1 correct. Looking at the chart, that means 3 owner points and 2 foal points. Luv got 1 correct and 1 incorrect for her foal, which equates to getting 0 correct.

Does that make more sense? I'm still perfectly open to changing it, but it seemed to me that you had misinterpreted something I said about it.

She is grey. Smoky blacks are just a touch away from black (my reference picture might be too light, so I can change that). Here are some good examples of smoky blacks:

I think it's a bit of both, since we -just- covered genetics in bio. I kept thinking Fog covered a darker color, so I guessed chestnut since that's a bit darker than Radio, and the overo frame is cause Radio has homozygous dominant, which would mean the foal should show it no matter what, and omgi'msohappyrightnow!!!

1) Nope, anyone can enter
2) You can pick any specialty class for any horse. And even is Horse A specializes in Western, he can still enter English and Showmanship classes, too, just with no bonus.

That is correct, double overo is lethal.

Mom has no dominant paint, tobiano or overo. But overo is controlled by two genes:
OO, Oo, oo: controls whether or not overo paint shows
PP, Pp, pp: controls frame vs splash vs sabino

So she could have any PP/Pp/pp genes buried in her genetics, even if she has oo.

The registration fee is now 30k.

Halters are 6k.
JollyBalls are 4k.
Training medals are 6k.

Foaling paddocks will be 60k.
Regular tag-its will be 100k.
Gold tag-its will be 200k.

50% discount for registered barns, as always

How does all of that sound to you guys? I'm not trying to rob you all (of course), so if you feel these prices are unfair, let me know. I'm still adjusting to the new currency.

I have no idea about prices now vs pi prices before as I wasn't really into the stable before you left pi.  I only started adopting form secundi/the kennel forums.

But I do think the prices look reasonable and fair.
