[Miniwyvs] Winter Festival!

[Saturnalia]

Everything around you glitters with the sparkle of ice, and fluffy snow crunches underfoot. Bright banners in shades of blue and purple announce the festival's events, standing out against the white winter backdrop. Miniwyvs flit here and there, bursts of living color weaving in and around the booths and ice sculptures that adorn the riverbank. Beyond, skaters glide across the frozen water to music played by a merry band.

The holiday season is upon us! And what better way to celebrate than a month-long celebration? Behold, the winter festival!

You'll find many sights, sounds, and perhaps even tastes to delight the senses-- and the senses of your Miniwyvs, too! So go ahead, and see what strikes your fancy!

Up on a stage-- crafted of ice, but somehow not slippery-- there is an ornate wooden mural, depicting Miniwyvs dancing across a snowy night sky. 31 small doors are located all over it, each numbered.

Once a day, a door will open, and the Miniwyv within will go home with someone!

Rules & Instructions:
-Be the closest to rolling a 20 (using 1d20) to win! (If no one rolls a 20, the closest by midnight EST will win!)
-If you are the first to roll a 20, you automatically win!
-In the case of ties, the first person to have rolled the number will win.
-One try per day!
-If you win, you must skip a day before you can play again.

You step up to a booth, covered on three sides to keep any wind out. It's necessary, since the booth is filled with wrapping paper and festive ribbon.

Here, you can purchase gifts to be sent to friends! The present will be boxed up nicely, and will open on or around December 25th! To keep it mysterious, all wrapping paper will be different.

Saturn is playing with a flock of swirly-marked Miniwyvs, newly arrived from the far, snowy reaches to the north.

Every so often, the miniwyvs seem to become hyper-amorous and will congregate in larger groups to mate. The researchers have determined that it is now one such time of the year!

The 'wyvs have all been set loose within the Moon Room, and left to their own devices. After some time, the door was opened back up, the Miniwyvs returned to their owners, and eggs collected!

Eggs have hatched!

Just got back from my mom's (yay 2 hour drive!) and will get done as much as I can before I have to go out to a party (yay another 2 hour drive! but I get to be a passenger for that one, at least).

Winged is ushered up onto the ice stage, and pulls open Door 2 to find a female Miniwyv with markings like a decorated Christmas tree. Ooh, it's very rare for a wyv to have multicolored markings!
