Before I fill out the custom form, I must ask (because I'm not familiar with showing animals and such), what is the different between Regular Name and a Call Name?

I forgot to add in breed for the forms guys so be sure to copy the new form.
Solista a registered name is what the feline will be registered as. Its a usually a longer name that is announced at shows. Its often refered to as the show name. A call name is a shortened version of the registered name.
So heres an example.

'Color' is for the base color i.e - Red/Fawn/Silver/Black
I think 'Patterns' is for the body design i.e - Spotted Tabby
And the 'Markings' would be for the white parts i.e - Mits (white paws), Locket (white chest)

Willow is correct BKC, do you mind revising your form. Just as a note a lynx point that is light chocolate will be a chocolate tabby not a cinnamon tabby. Basically a cinnamon tabby would have to be a certian type of tabby on a cinnamon colored cat.
On that note solista your feline is considered a cream cat not a cinnamon.

I have a small offer for anyone's taking. I want to do a litter of kittens, I need to figure out my exact system before our mini season. So the first person who claims this out-of-season breed slot will get a free breeding between two cats of their choosing. If you need a stud or RB I'm sure there maybe someone with that that wouldnt mind helping for a kitten?

Just as a note out-of-season breeds are not marked on the females breeding record so it's sort of a magic breed. Same with males however so it cannot help him towards a claim ticket.

Question about registering for an A quality Feline
Do they have to be bred to qualify? (like the ones we're getting in these events and such don't necessarily qualify?)
I only ask because it requires Dam and Sire information and didn't have any indication of whether it's not needed for "starters"
Thanks for pointing that out soli, all starter cats do not require that infomatin. If they do not had a dam & sire just put in N/A. All the cats aside form one of PMs kittens are qualified for Quality A.

Kinda like when I owned my siberian husky, his akc kennel registration name was Johannes Farley verne, but we just called him Johannes or Bubsy.. So here, his reg name would be the full thing, call name johannes?

When it comes to patterns there are preset colors the pattern will be to match the base color of the cat. Cream cats have orangish patterns, light chocolate cats have dark brownish patterns.
The pattern slot is for patterns, which are listed at the main desk.
The marking slot is for white markings, which are also listed at the main desk.

Ah, I do actually have a question, since it was mentioned with PinkShadow's custom.
Is there anywhere we can look to see what base colors allow for which colored patterns? (whether it's by FFC in the Front Desk or on a website somewhere) Just so we don't accidentally ask for the wrong color pattern with a certain base coat :3
I looked over the Front Desk, but may have missed it if it's already there.
Your fine soli *snugs* I was just really trying to exlpain things so I didnt fill a custom order the wrong way and some one be upset with the custom.
However all patterns go with all base colors except for white..white a self only color ^_^ I kinda put a little tid bit in the colors & patterns area at the main desk so people know what to expect :D
Now then back to filling customs!

So in general when you want a darker pattern (even if that pattern covers most of the fur) you still want to put the lightest color as base color?
So like my muffin would technically have a cream coat, and the black and cinnamon would be the pattern colors? (despite that there is very little of the cream visible)

Ahh see thats where you catch me, torties & calicos can be any of the three colors it shows so A. Black B. Red C. Cream or with a dilute tortie you can have A. Dove B. Fawn C. Cream. The color youd like to show most of you choose as the base ^-^

Yes you can Neo, you can even stack white markings. The only thing you cannot do is stack patterns.

Okay guys I've opened USD slots, which are unlimited. We need roughly $200 for the whole website for a year of webhosting, and a neat adoptable site by kenkenderson. I realize it'll take awhile to get to that much but it'll a huge step for this adoptable and when It releases I have a huge suprise for everyone.
So a lot of you will notice you can't access your owner folders (unless you know the exact URL), because there's a spiffy new website in the way 8D
If you go to the owned list, and click on the link to the first Feline you'll see what the individual pages will all eventually look like (only 001 is complete at the moment). But look forward to your felines again tomorrow!

White actually can be a base color, however it just stands by itself with no patterns or markings. They are just slightly based on genetics..actually not really. When it comes to breeding its by percentages and chance >.>

The psd doesn't work for me, it saves as an unknown format not a psd. Anyone know what the problem is? I assume it should work since others have managed to get it working.
Solistia, I would love it if you could. My computer only has Paint Shop Pro and lately, its been really really bad about opening psd files. I was going to try doing it myself, but I'm also really bad at cat mimics and markings and such. Was going to try mimicking one of my real life kitties.

Yes, I had asked about that previously, but you may open any amount of catteries you want! So long as you're focused on breeding purebreds, it shouldn't be that difficult to have 3 or 4 catteries to space out all the breeds :3
And you can still breed felines during breeding season without a cattery, but in a cattery you can also breed outside of breeding season =D

OK, another question. I see at the breeding desk in the Notary thread, naming forms for kittens. Do we have to name them before seeing them then? Or can we wait for them to grow (be colored)? Or, if we name them, then see them and want to change the name to better suit, is that allowed?

If a Breeder registers a kitten/litter of kittens as 'B' Quality that means they cannot be bred, ever right? Like, the new owner can;t someway re-register the animal as 'A' Quality and breed it?

If a Breeder registers a kitten/litter of kittens as 'B' Quality that means they cannot be bred, ever right? Like, the new owner can;t someway re-register the animal as 'A' Quality and breed it?

Okay im only going to answer those im pretty confident about answering lol.
First naming the kittens. I do not see the problem with wanting to wait till they are full grown. Or if you wish to name them now and then change the name once you see them. I wasnt thinking about that part when i created the forms.
Second when you register a Cat its registered. I do not believe a person can reregister it once its been done as a A quality or a B quality. you might be able to re register a pet from A to B but that would be down grading basicly not upgrading like going from B to A.
Third the signed statement. I believe that is a contract you have people sign like TheKennel had.
Forth the responsible breeding. I do not know the minimum for this part but basicly it means show us you wont inbreed or mix. (im mostly positive about this one but not fully sure)

You may register a kitten as A or B quality your choice, but you may not re-register it again. There is now an option to have felines fixed. Which is undoable, but if your trying to protect lines then thats the way to go.

I am a little confused... to breed our cats, do we have to post the A quality registering form? Or are the ones on the websit already registered?
Also, my Calla's markings are incorrect, she only has a blaze listed and should have blaze and mits. Duck has his broken tabby listed under patternes, but you said he also has bi-colour, instead of mits, blaze and locket? Anyway the only pattern shown is broken tabby and no markings are shown, so something needs added. He also has no male symbol.

we have noticed the parts of the symbols missing in the certs of the CYOS. that will be taken care of ASAP.
As for breeding the cats you do need to PM the registering form. And if im correct i believe the Mystery woman has decided that those on the website that are starters will be automaticly registered but i do not know when that is to take affect. So registering now would be better safe then sorry.
and for the markings ill let mysterywoman and/or solistia look at them :)
Felines do NOT need to be registered to breed (though A-Quality registered come with the advantage of being able to produce more kittens :3)

How do I know if the kittens I've got in trades are A-registered? Do I need to do anything to make sure they are (ie: pay fee, fill out form)?
Best way to know if the litter as a whole was registered is to ask the person you got the kittens from.
Otherwise, visit the Interactive link on the website, navigate to the Registering information, and simply fill out the A or B quality register information for your kitten (once they have an official ID number, which I believe they'll get after the 27th), and submit the required fees and PM FFC with the form :3
