Man, this took several days of work! It dunno if it really looks as complicated as it actually is. @_@
I've been working on a pattern family tree for Amami. She was my first Garden Nom and the special #50 Nom, which Leet colored with a unique pattern. I have always loved her, she's one of my fave adoptables! And I keep close track of all her children, and for a long time I was thinking of doing a 'family tree' to show her and all her children with her unique pattern. Easier said than done!
I think the whole thing got confusing, so I added some little icons to indicate certain things. The green star means that the offspring got the same exact pattern as Amami. The yellow star means it's a new pattern, a combination of Amami's pattern and the other parent's.
And trying to fit all the Noms onto one image got difficult, so I kinda smushed them all in there and it got hard to tell the different gens. I put a swirl for each gen of Nom. I was really surprised there's only 4 gens! XD I'm sure that will change in time...
If there's no icons next to the Nom, that means that is not an offspring of Amami, but bred to one of them.
Also, I only included Amami's offspring that inherited her pattern (or a new pattern based on her pattern). All of these Noms in the image have many more offspring than the ones shown, but they were all regular patterns or no patterns, so I left them off.

Wow that must have taken forever! I know that I've come across her pattern many times when colouring breedings but it's nice to see them all in one place ^_^
Yeah it's a popular pattern! Mostly among the Night Noms, which amuses me greatly. XD I will be continuing to keep close track of her offspring with her pattern because I do love it so! <3
Wow, this is neat, and I'm delighted to see some of my Noms represented here.
And it's sort of an honor to own the father of the first wave of Amami-coat nomlets, after Evening Tama, of course. Here I had worried that Vanya would be considered so plain as to be overlooked, and he's become part of something really special.
That poor tree's going to end up with another branch sometime soon, as I do hope to breed Misha with his intended mate Cait at some point. Considering I named them after roleplay characters, I also want to re-create their family tree in Nom form. =)
