Hello all! We gather you here today to announce the beginning of breeding season!
Now, there is a few changes as compared to last season. This season, we will be using the system Silvanon created for the Quinsta. You will Go to 'Your Account', click 'Use Agency Items' select 'CDA' for your agency, click on your 'In-Season Breeding Box', and select your pair. You may also use the check marks below your pairing's System ID's to add a Fruit Basket or a Magic Feed Bag to go with your pairing at this time; as well as any comments you'd like to add. At this time, I cannot add in screen-shots, so I hope you all understand my guidelines and take what you do with Quinsta breeding into the same concept for CDA breeding.
You have through the end of February 14th to submit your breedings
You CANNOT use out of season boxes for breeding season, because that item was not put into the system by Silv. If you insist on using an outside box during breeding season, you may post that form here in RED instead of using the system.
You may only submit 3 breedings! If I see a fourth breeding by the same usr, I will delete it without warning. 3 Breedings may be submitted by each usr, total.
Also, this is for future reference, so it does not affect you right now, but Breeding Seasons are going to be held every 4 months, instead of 2. With college, its hard to do so many breedings every 2 months, so this will be the new times for seasons: February, June, & October

Someome elses male is fine, just have them approve it. its Just like quinsta. :)
Maybe put a pet into the CDA account and name it 'unknown parent' and let people submit breedings with that parent to have you do a breeders choice thing? Just so there's an ID# to enter? No idea if that's something you wanna do, but trying to help <3
So errm.. Does using this new system mean we'll have to pick babies by description? Or is it just for you to easier navigate through forms and will we get babies delivered as usual?

Wild, I submitted a breeding with my Gina x Dauphin. It doesn't use a Magic Feed, so that guarantees a natural litter, meaning Dauphin's fantasy colored eyes don't pass on to offspring, right? (that is what I want to happen, all natural babies)
this is my first CDA breeding so I apologize for the questions.
1) If you bred fantasy together do you get fantasy?
2) Do you have to be a registered den to do the three breedings?
I can answer the second question, no you don't have to be registered for that. Everyone can submit three breedings, being registered just changes the amount you can keep. Without being registered you can keep 2 per breeding, with registration you're allowed to keep a max. of 4 per breeding. And you get some out of season items and other shiny stuff every couple months. Those are the only differences.
And official rules for fantasy from the main page:
* 10% chance of fantasy litter with Fantasy X Normal
* 30% chance of fantasy litter with Fantasy X Fantasy
* Magic Feed will guarantee a fantasy litter, no matter what
But I haven't seen a single Fantasy x Fantasy litter last breeding season that had natural colored babies, even without using the Magic Feed item, so I kinda doubt Wild is really sticking to that XD So I'll let her say yay or nay to that question.
Actually YLO, fantazy x fantasy still produces normal young. My Seraphim who is a fantasy was bread to a fantasy female last time, and though he produced 3 fantasy babies, he also sired one normal offspring as well.
Still, according to the rules it's a 30% chance of a fantasy litter and it should be a normal natural litter otherwise, I've not seen a single fantasy x fantasy litter that had entirely natural offspring and I did see several people not use magic feed. So either odds were very very much in everyone's favor or Wild decided to do it differently than originally planned XD
Okay, so if enough people Really want me to, I can make a blank pet ID for breedings with just the male, or just the female.
YLO is right on the registered part. Everyone gets 3 slots, no matter registered or not. Registered only affects the amount of babies per litter you get to keep. :)
As far as fantasy breedings go; I always roll a 1/10 die for each BABY, not the litter. So each individual baby will have a 30% chance of being fantasy with Fantasy X Fantasy. And for Fantasy X Normal, it's the same except 10% chance per baby. ^^
I think that covers all questions thus far?
Can I suggest changing the wording then? Since it always spoke of chances of having a fantasy litter, I always assumed this meant the entire litter would be either natural or fantasy. Not that I breed fantasy so it's not very important to me lol XD
Was my assumption correct that without the magic feed my boy's purple eyes won't pass to his offspring? Because I don't want the fantasy eyes to pass, I want natural babies XD
You also missed my question if we'll receive babies as images or as descriptions with this new system.

Also, I usually do either color for babies, or a mix, but i know you dont like fantasy so I'll make a point that yours wont be fantasy eyes.

Some of you may notice a breeding or two of yours has been admin approved. This means Bunraku or myself has started coloring that litter shortly. ^^ We decided to start coloring a few early to get a head start on the large breeding list. All will be uploaded on the 15th or later though.

My two snake breedings have been approved for a while but no eggs yet, i assume they're on the list to come? I also have one breeding of my own and two other people have breedings using one of my pets which aren't approved, are they listed under your total of which to do?
The list is weird. XD I accepted some breedings I'm doing, and theres a ocuple approved that Bun is doing, but all those not accepted bun is doing. We know whats what and have everything marked, its just chaotic looking to you guys. XD But they are all on our waiting lists, so no worries that you wont get your babies. <3

Yeah, I understand that. I made so many mistakes the last few times I uploaded cause I was so tired. ;-;
Also, note for next time with eggs>hatchling growth stage; It should be 2 weeks from the date you upload, not 10 days. :P Its okay for the ones youve already done, but next time make sure to count 14 days from the date you upload. Your hatchling>adult dates were correct though!

I actually really like the shortened wait for those, since I noticed last season almost everyone waits until the eggs hatch to babies before deciding who to keep and trade anyway.

XD I had that when importing a FCFC litter today. Two kittens were listed as being adults, two had the same ID#, one was lacking the parent info, one was listed as first gen etc. I never made that many mistakes lol. But they are all fixed now.
I am so excited to see my own snake eggies arrive :D

Hey Everyone!
I just had a small problem with a snake that has just grown into a hatchling returning to the CDA account when it shouldn't have. Please be on the lookout for this happening to any ratlings or hatchlings! I'm not sure if it will happen to any of the litters I myself have colored but please be on the lookout if your eggs are due to grow into hatchlings never the less. Report it to me and I will return them to you ^^
