Not always Sunny, there is a pricing guide on the website for purchasing customs.  But you'd have to wait for those types of customs to become open.  At this time, only scroll turn in's are being taken.

Scrolls are given out in events quite often, and can also be traded for.  I may give some out in the other thread later on, or maybe some apples.

Sunny, 2 things hun.  First, as these customs are for realistic horse colors/markings, I assume you want me to just.. ignore the wings when making it?  Second, should there be any white on the rear legs?

Oh &*^#!  I'll go find him before I do anything else.  Someone really should slap me for staying awake so long without sleep heh I didn't think it had been so long, but Ali told me I'd been up for over 24 hours.. it's the only reason I went to bed, I was wondering why I was so freaking tired lol

I fixed my form.

Sunny..  Click the thumbnail for full size view.  Her spots (dapples?) look kinda funky, what little you can see of them.  Shading/highlighting mostly hides them.  I've had that problem before :S  I can try and tweak those layers if you want, or I can try and make the dapple spots a bit darker in hopes they show through better;  Just let me know.

YLO..  I wasn't sure where/how to put the darker roots on her.  With the way the mare's mane hangs, you can;t really see the root part of it.  So I just put some at the top of her head a lil darker.  It's on a layer by itself, so if you want it moved elsewhere iI can fix it easy, just tell me where.  Anything else that needs fixed too, just let me know :)

on the ref pics, there is a lil white patch on the neck, separate form the main white section.  On the SC mare lineart however that area of the neck isn't visible.  Would you like me to put a white patch on the side of the neck that is visible?  Also, I can;t tell if the black bit at the top of the (real) horse pic is shadow or not, the stable horse's tail is partially colored black, but its a lot more black then what I se eon the real horse.  How would you like me to do hat, as is, add a lil at the top, or all the way down as in the stable horse?  Annd, can;t tell if the ears are black, or just shaded/shadowed, in either pic.  So let me know if you want black there as well.  And anything else that needs adjusting of course.

As for more custom scrolls.. keep your eyes open whenever I run events, I give them away sometimes as YLO said.  I could open up custom sales but.. I wouldn't know what to charge, as none have ever actually sold lol

The ears look like they are just slightly darkened to me, so no need to add markings there.
For mane/tail just black and white was good. You can see a little black at the roots of the real horse, I think Ravv guessed that the inside of the tail was all black (as you cannot see that in the pose). So yeah any white with some black added is a good tail. I don't think there is brown in the tail though, I think that is just yellowing because the tail got dirty and/or wet. So yeah white tail with some black somewhere would be neat. I don't mind if you do or do not add the speck on the neck, whichever you prefer is fine <3 (Short answer XD: white and black tail without the brown, speck in neck optional)

I love the muzzle and hind leg especially, they look so realistic :D She is looking lovely ^^

So he should be unaturally beautiful, while still having a dangerous personality.

Aralie, you said Blue Roan, but the colors I pulled form the pic were more black/grey.  I used those colors as a base, then added in a little more blueish tint.  I did save the psd however, in case you wanted the black/grey hues instead.  Just let me know, and I'm sorry, the horse colorations still confuse me a bit lol  Also, I couldn't make out the mane in the image, so just tried to "match" it to the tail.  I can change that as well if you like.

YLO your first ref pic for this one is it just for the marking, or for the color?  Because you said chestnut for body coat, but the image looks like it has a white coat.

So, I just want to be sure I have the color right, is it a white body and chestnut spots, or a chestnut body and white spots?

Like black leopard appy looks like black spots on a white coat, same is true for this one. So yes I do want the chestnut spots on the white base, but the color would still be called chestnut appaloosa and not white appaloosa (a white horse is all white).

When will customs for non-horse colours be available? I have several characters i'd love, some are fantasy but some are animal mimics and natural colours so might be possible on a off-coloured custom.

Winged Non-Horse colors (as in non equine animal mimics) won't be available for customs for a very long time (if ever).  Non-equine animal mimics are supposed to be rare and special, and I won't even consider if I will allow them as any sort of customs until I get to actually release them officially.  I do have several colored up and waiting in the wings for an official release, but every time I want to get them released something happens and I can't.  My most recent attempt was an RP,but I timed it badly (right before NANO) and then when Nov passed we were into the holidays, then the holidays passed and.. well, I've not heard back from hardly any of my "players" so not sure if they even still want to do the rp.

Long story short, I'm highly discouraged at this point, and pondering giving up on ever releasing non-equine mimics.  I just dunno, we'll see I guess..

As for off-coloreds.. (SC's with real horse colors and markings, just with colors in the wrong places/markings the wrong colors ex.a black horse with brown paint instead of white).. I maybe can open a small custom event for those.  I haven't done so yet because honestly, I didn't think that many people were/would be interested in off-coloreds.  Especially since they can;t breed in normal breeding seasons either, and have to wait for their own.  But it's not fair to the folks who do want them, for me to put them off because not many do lol  So I'll sort out a small event/slots for those soon (will aim for within a week, but no promises on that time frame).

For your current forms posted, I do need you to remove one for now, as you can only have one custom pending at a time.

For your Semi custom form,I will allow the bridle since you do have some in your inventory, but you are only allowed to pick one color for semi's, so if this mare is special for you then you may want to wait and use a full custom form for her.

Okay, i'll remove the semi-custom. That's fine for the other types of customs, i was just unsure about them since i'd heard mention of them before. I would be interested in off-coloured markings.
