Hello babes! It's that time again. Get your pairs lined up because BREEDING SEASON IS HERE! We're doing a great job of keeping on track with the new calendar schedule, I'm so proud!

Updates:
*PM HAS FOUND THE SOMALI AND SHIBA INU LINES. YOU MAY USE THEM FOR BREEDING THIS SEASON!!!

*We have a fantastic event planned for July, I can't wait to show you all!! Its going to be so much fun. :3

*So with the release of news about a potential new site, we are still going ahead with that BUT the up front costs are really causing issues for me right now, so until I get that sorted I won't even be purchasing the site to start coding it. This pushes things back a few more months for sure. Just wanted to keep you in the know! (I wasn't kidding when I said this would take a long time to get going |D)

*In agreement with enough Staff members, we have decided to place ALL mutated edits under "breedable only" categories like we have with the retriever's straight ears. This way, it gives us all a goal to try and get via breeding! It would work the same way as the Retrievers, where you have a 25% chance of passing the mutation on, and it can only be passed by a pet that SHOWS the edit, not by those that carry it. Having two edited pets breed together gives you a 50% chance of it passing, but still not 100% guaranteed.
As of right now, the edits we have are- Retriever straight ears, Dane floppy ears, bobtail long tail, munchkin bob tail, and corgi long tail.

Open until June 18th!!

In each season you may breed one pair, unless otherwise stated (either feline or canine).
The pair will have 1-4 babies.
No breeding beds are required for breeding seasons.
You may keep two babies for yourself, the others have to go to new homes.
Babies will grow three weeks from the date added to the site.
You must have permission if you are using someone else's pet for a breeding.
Males may breed twice per season.
Females may breed once per season.

.:Inbreeding:.

This is highly frowned upon, but mostly if you are a Registered Kennel/Cattery.  This shows irresponsible breeding, but it is your critter so your choice. If you do end up inbreeding the resulting baby will drop in quality as will the parents.  If you use a registered pet and it is bred to a relative, it can no longer be considered registered, so use the tool to check.

(So B quality parents, and C quality babies)

.:Mixing Breeds:.

You can not mix a dog to a cat, but can mix breeds of the same species.  The resulting baby will get one of the parents linearts, but be dropped in quality, and be marked as species "Mutt" or "Moggie"

A parent who is registered, who has a Mutt/Moggie baby will not drop in quality and may stay registered, but the baby will not be able to be registered.

(so B quality babies only)

.:Markings/Colours/Line Edits:.

Markings and colours can pass as a mixture, but as we try to stay real to how dogs and cats breed you could end up with something unexpected.

Mutations will pass with a chance of 25% done by random roll.
Breeding two pets with the same edit will result in a 50% chance of passing done by random roll.
Line edits such as Collars and Outfits will NOT pass on, as it would be difficult to birth a collar I would imagine.

If anyone is willing to risk a Merle/Merle breeding their options will be as follows:
Healthy - A quality
Healthy/Sterile - B quality
Blind/Sterile - C quality
Deaf/Sterile - C quality
The more issues, the more white these babies will have on them
