Thursday I will have home nets back! Sooo.... Umm... I'll become a more active member of this community, have more time to devote to this site, be able to play all day rather then the hour or so I get at the free wifi place downtown. Umm... Dunno what else to say except Woo hoo! Yay for AT&T 14.95 deal for a year =D

lol we tried to get at&t and they wouldnt come out to our house, so we had to get the ever so despised comcast (not sure if its just a local thing though), and we are going to have to pay $140 a month to get what we want lol

Sunchaser

lol we have to have comcaste here for net as well. *hugs Kah* Welcome back lovey!

Yay for home nets!

Whimsy - I've never used Comcast, but a friend of mine has it and they've had issues as well.  (Most recently, after having no internet at home for some time, the company got them hooked up again, only for them to have the internet wire cut at the external box less than a week later - they live in an apartment complex.  And Comcast couldn't come out for another four days after that to fix it.)

I have Comcast and the only problem I've had is the Internet may be down for a little bit of time for no reason, but you'll have that. My mom had serious problems with AT&T on the otherhand - no service for the better part of 2 weeks, double billing, horrible tech support. The biggest problem she had was when she had to change the bill from my dad's name over to hers. She was on the phone with AT&T for months trying to get it changed. I lost track of how many times they claimed they had the bill in her name and then the next time she talked to them it was back in my dad's name. Another friend was double billed while using AT&T and the company was refusing to pay back the money owed. So fair warning and hopefully you'll have better luck with AT&T!

I'll be very happy to be back. The people I know have had no problems. But I'll keep the fair warnings at heart. I know my sister has had AT&T for years as phone service with no real problems on her part (I, however managed to blow up my sim card and never got it replaced. The contract was at an end at the end of the month so just cancelled.) *grins* I'm so excited to be back! It's been rough, getting, like, an hour a day (except when I go see Momma, then it's a few hours. Gotta love WIFI at nursing homes, eh?)

Never heard of comcast.  But bleck on them for slow service too!
