Ohh how I hate history.. XD
Were working on a bunch of stuff, including that. I'll give you everything I found though for my study guide.

July 4th, 1776 the Declaration of Independance was written by Thomas Jefferson, which declared our independance from Britain.
Patriots: Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Paine, John Quincy Adams, and Ben Franklin.
Thomas Paine: He was a patriot, who inspired other patriots to declare independance from Britain (aka: thomas jefferson, sense he wrote the delcaration).
Its kind of a circle, now that I look at it like this. Haha. I know its not much to go, on, but its something atleast. D:

One recommendation that I would make, is that if you are going to talk about the military personal, don't refer to them as soldiers. Soldiers only means people in the Army, which leaves out anyone in the Navy, Marine Corps, Airforce, and Coast Guard. You could use military personal, military service memebers, or armed forces, those terms are just more inclusive and don't leave out 4/5 of the branches. :)
