Just about all orders for the Okibi are caught up, except of Okibi birthday gifts which I'm working on, so finally it's time to start the long planned for Mini Breeding Season! Just in time to join the Gryphions! Secundi loves its babies, yesh?

Note: This thread has nothing to do with the main Okibi breeding thread. This is an experiment to see if I can handle doing a bunch of breedings together. If you are or are not anywhere on the main Okibi breeding list, you can still participate in this thread.

What's a 'mini' breeding season?

For this season, there will not be slots. Instead everyone can have one breeding by posting in this thread. The more common Foxfires can be used, but the rarer Purple and Green Foxfires will not be available for this season. I'd like to get all these breedings out in a timely manner, and if this works, I can plan for regular mini seasons along with the primary breeding thread.

What if I already have a Purple Foxfire or Green Foxfire in my Inventory?

As always, if it's in your inventory, it can be used at any time. I don't plan on ever changing that rule.

How often can an Okibi breed?

Because reproduction for Okibi is done by magical Foxfires using two Okibi's essence to create new life, it tires both genders equally. Both males and females can only breed once every 20 days. (Babies grow in 20 days, so basically if your Okibi has a baby, it can't breed again until that baby is an adult.)

Note: Okibi MUST have a name to breed! Foxfires will not interact with a nameless Okibi.

Do I have to own an Okibi to breed?

No, you can borrow two Okibi from anyone as long as permission is posted in this thread.

- 10k This magical Foxfire is always needed to breed two Okibi. Other colored Foxfires can be used to influence the outcome.

- 1k This Foxfire guarantees the baby will be male.

- 1k    This Foxfire guarantees the baby will be female.

- 1k This Foxfire allows two Okibi of the same gender to have an offspring.

- 5k This Foxfire allows s-genes that the offspring carries to be automatically changed to visible.

@YLO: Sorry for the delay, I was away for the weekend. There is one small bred mutation waiting to be discovered that has been around for a long time but no one has managed to trigger yet, and one bigger one that is fairly new I just added to the list. :3 So there's two right now, with more as I think them up! ^_^

Good to know After reading about a bred mutation (drac wings) occuring when breeding two other bred mutations (sabertooth and flame feathers) together I wonder if there are more like that.. So I've settled on trying out a pair of tiny mutation x antenna mutation! They're also both males, both have another mutation as well and they have both unique markings so it should be a fun pairing even if it doesn't trigger anything XD
