Since Silv has been offline and i want to get my payment in for the bonus ticket i'm buying, i'll post a thread and hope someone can answer my question. I'm new to using paypal xD

I've got to the send money page and it says What are you sending money for? Should i select; I'm paying for goods or services or I'm sending money to family or friends? I'm confused which is better to go for, the one which i don't pay a fee or the one where i pay the small fee.

I typically select services - that way it's clear that you're sending a payment for something that's not physical goods, but that it's not just a gift either.

For this, you could select either, since Silv would be providing a colouring service and you would be getting digital art as the goods.

However, as its Silv, I normally send my payments as a gift, so she doesnt get charged a fee ;)

Leafy

Try not to ever ever ever send payments as gift :\ Not getting charged a fee is very nice, but Paypal gets REALLY cranky about not getting their fees and could freeze Silv's account for getting around their rules :\

Really Leafy? I know plenty of artists who ask for payment to be send as gifts. Paypal still gets their fees, it's just the sender who pays the fee instead of the receiver (I looked that up a couple months ago), so I doubt they could get mad for that.

Exactly, the Sender pays the Fee, so it doesnt get taken out of the money the payee recieves :)

Yeah that's why i thought Silv might want it sent as a gift, because then she didn't have the fees. But It's not a gift so i thought that might be bending the rules and i thought that might be bad for Silv, like Leafy said. I guess it's personal preferance, how you send the money.
