ORE DRAKES
Ore drakes, or simply drakes, are egg-bearing creatures that are often found in large groups. They closely resemble dragons, but drakes are not predators in the traditional sense; they consume large quantities of rock and ore as the main component of their diet, and supplement this with bones, bark, and plants. Their island of origin, currently kept a secret in an effort to preserve these creatures, has very few predatory threats, and as such drakes can be found in many fantastical colors and patterns! They are roughly the size of a large housecat, although individuals can vary greatly in size!

Drakes do not possess different reproductive organs, and any two drakes can be bred together, thereby greatly increasing the possibilities of the breeding program as we work to ensure that the drake gene pool does not become too small. Any names and genders associated with drakes may be assigned by their owners - drakes are not sapient, although they are quite intelligent and may be taught tricks and simple commands.

Participating in the Ore Drake White Elephant will cost 5,000 SG. If you do not have 5,000 SG, please contact us so we may arrange an exception for you—we want everyone to participate who wants to! Please send payment to the Drake Export Office account! You will have to add us to your Buddy List before you can send us money.

HOW TO PLAY

• Once signups close, I will post the turn order. Turn order determines when you get to make a choice!

• The first player must pick a present from the available pile. Since nobody else will have a present yet, they cannot steal a present.

• I will reveal the contents of the present. Each time a new present is chosen from the pile, the game is paused until I reveal the contents. Each present will contain one premade drake.

• Each subsequent player can choose to either pick an unopened present or steal an opened present from another player.

• If your present is stolen, you may choose a replacement. You may choose to steal any other opened present except the one that was just stolen from you.

• You may not steal a present that has just been stolen.

• Presents may only be stolen three times. Once a present has been stolen for the third time, it can no longer be stolen and will remain with the third thief.

• If the first present has not been stolen by the time the game terminates, the first player will receive a bonus semicustom drake.
