Name: Forgotten Love
Job: Herd Leader
Other:  Forgotten Love goes by quite a few nicknames including Love, Forgotten, Fergie, and a few others.  She spent most of her life as a loner, never accepted, until she found her forever mate, Brightening Shadows.  Together they started a herd of outsiders, Fables otherwise austrosized by the community.  Fergie prides herself in knowing each of her herd members individually and personally.  She is very open to things most Fables wouldn't be and is a very understanding leader.  She is fierce when it comes to her herds protection and is extremely possesive of her herd territory and members.  Though she rarely has it, her free time is spent with the stories, trying to teach them how to find themselves and accept who they are without others judgement.  Because she is accustomed to a lonely life, she frequently takes journeys out of the territory always looking for new members, those in need of a home.  She feels like it is imperritive to know everything going on in and around her territory so that she can protect and benefit her herd with that knowledge.

Name:  Brightening Shadows
Job:  Second in Command
Other:  Brightening Shadows, aka Bright, Shadow, and occasionally BS, was always well liked in his home herd, but he had felt the weight of the world on his shoulders since the day he was born.  His father died before his birth and when his mother saw the way his bright marking contrasted to his dark coat, she knew he was her savior.  Bright loved holding his mother's spirits up, but it wasn't long before he became the herds' counselor of sorts, even as a tiny story.  His youthful games were interupted by adult problems and anxiety.  As a young adult, a Fable came to him after loosing her foal, and Bright couldn't cheer her up, she left the territory alone and was killed.  Bright left himself, feeling quite guilty, hoping to avenge the female he had failed, only to find Forgotten Love.  He had returned with her to his home herd, but she wasn't accepted, being thought to bring bad luck because of her sad markings.  Bright shunned his herd and left with Fergie to start their own herd, letting her lead with the strength that he gave her.

Name:  Ike
Job: Border Protector (Sgt)
Other:  Ike and Jhes are twins, and compliment each other quite well.  Ike was always a dreamer and wanted nothing more than to grow up to be a fighter, a protector, and to be a little famous.  His home herd never approved and eventually ostrasized him because of it.  He was young yet, but in Amore herd, he held the rank of Sergeant and helped Dallas (Sergeant Major) with many important tasks.  He was moving quickly up the food chain in the military world of Amore, where as he was a laughing stock in his home herd.  Ike wasn't even trained as a foal for anything but construction, but he and Jhes had practiced every waking moment on their defense techniques.  Ike knew Jhes has sacrificed a lot for him, and is extremely protective of his little (by seconds) sister, not that she needed it.  They had trained each other well, even to the point of having their own signature moves.

Name:  Jhes
Job:  Border Protector (Cpl)
Other:  Jhes and her twin brother, Ike, have been inseperable since birth.  As stories, they stuck together, usually avoiding the other stories.  For a long time, no one could understand their language except the other twin.  Somewhere along the way, Jhes lost herself and just became Ike's other half.  She didn't realized that, even at a young age, and accepted it without regret.  Jhes was the more grounded of the siblings.  She dreamed, but not like Ike.  He dreamed... and he believed in his dreams.  And Jhes loved that about her brother, because he made her believe in his dreams too.  For this reason, Jhes had decided from a young age to help Ike accomplish his dream, to one day lead their herd's border protector.  The twins sparred continually as stories, and even stuck off during training to spar some more.  Jhes was chosen to be a nurse maid, but never could pull her maternal insticts to the surface for the job.  The babes were cute, but just not her thing.  Ike was put into construction and he loathed it, and loathed his trainer, and loathed his elders in the herd.  Ultimately, he decided to leave the herd, and Jhes knew she had to follow him.  Cradle to grave was the twins motto.  So Jhes gave up the stories that were starting to hold her heart, packed her things, and took off on the journey with Ike.  When Forgotten and Bright found the twins, they were given a choice of how they wanted to contribute to the herd, so long as they contributed something.  Ike chose the obvious choice, his dream, border protector.  Jhes decided to follow him.  The two of them had become unstoppable while journeying alone.  Why mess with a good thing?

Name: Dallas
Job:  BP (SgtMaj)
Other:  Dallas is an outwardly simple, wizended Fable, but don't let that fool you!  Dallas is a bit gruff with his BPs, yet soft towards the little stories, even stooping to playing some war games with them occasionally.  He respects his herdmates, especially Fergie and Bright for bringing the herd together.  Dallas left his home herd when he was still a youngster.  Though he gained ranks fast within the BPs of his home herd, they taught underhanded and nasty methods to use against there enemies, regardless of provocation.  It didn't set well with Dallas.  One day he found himself poised to kill an innocent story on the order of his SgtMaj, simply because the small babe had wondered over the territory line.  He protected and escourted the story to the safety of it's mother.  His home herd warned him he would be killed on site if he ever returned.  For decades, he wondered as a loner... until he met Bright.  His years as a loner gave him an advantage to protecting himself, and he used it to work his way to SgtMaj within the herd of Amore.  Dallas hasn't ever settled down with a mare, or ever settled down at all for that matter.  He never stops glancing around him, watching every movement, prepared to defend his herd to the death.  He teaches his BPs everything he knows and praises them when they finally accomplish outsparring him.  Though his body is getting weaker, his mind never fails him.  No one would disrespect Dallas enough to challenge his ability as SgtMaj, but it hasn't gone unnoticed that he has been sending the stronger troops out.

Name:  Penny
Job: BP (GySgt)
Other:  Penny is an eccentric, odd Fable.  She is, however, Dallas right-hand in combat and in training.  Dallas has been phasing the patrol over to Penny, but never neglects to teach her the importance of teaching others.  She's a quick learner, arguably too smart for her own good.  Penny tends to sound the alert quickly, and sometimes unneccessarily when spooked.  She's never afraid to admit her mistake, but her pride takes a beating each time. Occasionally the shame gets to her, but Dallas had firmly reminded her that an unneeded alarm is better than no alarm when it IS needed.  Penny was part of a herd when Fergie met her, but she hated herself, hated her herd, and hated her herdmates.  They teased and picked on her without building her confidence to take the shame.  She was only a shell of the Fable she had grown to be.  Penny joined the herd right before Dallas, and had taken to admiring and following Dallas around to learn his ways almost immediently.  Since Penny had dedicated herself to her training and gained several ranks.  Dallas had taught her about the respect she never learned in her home herd, and in return, she respected him even more than Fergie or Bright.  Neither HL or SC had a problem with this however, seeing as they had complete faith in Dallas himself.  Fergie joked that one of these days Penny would find herself round and awaiting the arrival of Dallas's spawn.
