Colibri are small, agile birds recently brought to Secundi. They all have bright, colorful plumage, and can be seen flitting in and about the market. The shop is filled with thousands among thousands of flowers, perfuming the air with their pleasant aroma.

Welcome to Colibri! I've finally gotten around to making a new thread, and we have a daily game now added! Rosewood and Wildfilly94 will be coloring some colibri as well, so if you look at the bottom of the cert, you can see who colored your Colibri!

Here I'm going to cover some of the basics, and the next post we'll have items.

Breeding:
The exact days of the breeding season isn't set, but usually happen the first ten days of every other month (Although the actual topic may be posted before then, so that any breedings already planned may be posted). Females may breed once during a season, males twice. The female may lay 0-3 eggs, depending on how inbred the egg(s) would be, and the Silk. The eggs then start hatching 2-3 weeks after they're laid, at which time the owners may claim their newly hatched Colibri. Without a Silk Tree, owners may only claim two Colibri: one of their own, and another bred by someone else.

Ownership/Transfer:
Trading also happens during breeding season, but as of now, that is the only time I'm allowing already certed Colibri to be traded. However, you just need to ask if you want an item of yours moved to someone else's inventory.

Hey look at that! Just the Colibri you were dreaming of is interested in your feeder!

Breeding Items:
(Note: Can only be used during a breeding season.)

Normal Spider Silk - 2000Sg
Spider Silk for your female Colibri to build her nest.

Fine Spider Silk -2500Sg
Higher quality than regular silk, it ensures two eggs will be laid during breeding.

Red Columbine - 1000Sg
Ensures that all eggs will be female.

Delphinium - 1000Sg
Ensures that all eggs will be male.

Red Butterfly Bush - 2000Sg
Gives one egg a random marking.

Purple Butterfly Bush - 2000Sg
Gives one egg a random color.

Multi Colored Butterfly Bush - 3000Sg
Completely randomizes the egg.

Silk Tree - 5000Sg
Allows you to claim one extra egg - either your own or a friend's.

You may only buy one Silk Tree per day! (This is subject to change)

News, Events and Games

Cp:
Colibri points, or Cp for short, are a feature I've recently added. Cp is mostly earned during the daily games, but may also be handed out as a prize. They are awarded to your Colibri, and a record is kept of how much that Colibri has earned. Even when spent, the record doesn't go down, only the actual amount of points the Colibri has. You may not combine two different Cp stocks, however, to get one item

Daily games!

Flower picking

Post "(Your username)'s Colibri, (Colibri id or name), picked Flower number (1-5)!" In Bold and Green. When I see your post, I will then run Random.org. If the number matches, your Colibri gains a Cp. If it doesn't, then, well, you can always try again. You may enter every 4 hours.

Ex: SkySong's Colibri, Takeshi Tori, picked Flower number 4!

Stop and Chit Chat

Simply post "(Your username) stopped by and talked with the owner for a little while." In Bold. Doing so consecutively for a week will give you two Cp, which you may then assign to any of your Colibri. Two weeks in a row will give you three, three weeks will give you four, and so on. Unassigned points may not be spent.

Ex: SkySong stopped by and talked with the owner for a little while.
