I am over the moon to inform you that the FCFC are now an agency :'D
I have plenty to get going with, so for now I'm going to give you the importing info.

I am going to import all cats, every one I can find, in order if possible.
I'm fairly confident I can do this reasonably well, and the first 85 are easy to find, but I think there are over 150ish, so I'll just have to keep going at the fastest pace I can.

If you find any errors, please post them here C:

Breeding, Babies and Beds

Alright, here's a question for you all regarding breeding.
I have a bed item, and baby images, but I'm unsure if I should use them or not.

Would you rather have ~

1. Descriptions, no breeding item, no baby image. (old way)
2. Descriptions, bed breeding item.
3. Baby image, no breeding item.
4. Baby image, bed breeding item.

Also, if anyone has an idea for a naming item that'd be appreciated!
It'd be nice to make something unique xD;

I don't think a breeding item is needed, but I'm indifferent towards whether you use baby images or just description

For a naming item...maybe a pawprint? Cause famous people get stars with their names under it so yeah XD

Edit: Or you could use the bed for the naming item? Like it's a custom bed with names sewn on

I think having baby pictures would be cute, but since it's less work on the artists, then perhaps a description would be better. I don't care either way for or against an item *Is totally no help*

For a naming item, perhaps a collar? Or maybe naming fish/naming bones - since there are dogs and cats.

I'd love baby pictures, cat genetics confuse me so descriptions make me wanna hide away |D So I vote baby pictures, no item.

I also like the paw print item because it fits both cat and dog <3

I vote 4. Baby image, bed breeding item.  Honestly, the descriptions is the only thing about Quinsta I dislike, but for them I can see it, as all the foals aren't kept.  But if all the kittens are kept (by someone) then I'd much rather see the little babies.  However, I know what a pain in the rear trying to color an adult to match a baby image can be.  So yea lol

I like the paw print idea for a naming item.  It's cute, and deffinately original

Yeah, I usually color each part of the baby at the same time as the adults for whatever adoptie I color, so I never have issues, but i can see how it would be a pain if you do it a different way. However, the baby linnes are SO cute D:

I think it'd be nice to keep the descriptions for babies, but also have the (paid) option to get kitten images of your litter if you want :3

Willow, I do still have a small issue with missing/mixed up "kittens" from the breeding.  A better/longer explanation can be found in your help thread top of page 2 (for me) here.. http://www.secundi.net/forum.php?topic=6288.50

But basically, this girl here http://www.secundi.net/critterpage.php?ID=552447 was an "extra" colored in error I think, as she was not given to me in my litter descriptions.  She should instead be a twin to this boy here http://www.secundi.net/critterpage.php?ID=552446  I don't mind so much the gender switched to female, but would it be possible to get the coloration fixed when you have time?

ETA:  ack sorry, I just noticed my calico here http://www.secundi.net/critterpage.php?ID=552575 is listed as a Ragoll, and she is supposed to be a Miniature, I don;t see Ragdoll on the list of breeds on the website though, and the image does match the listed miniature breed.  So not sure where Ragdoll came from.. unless they are one and the same, I'm clueless about cat breeds I'm afraid so feel free to giggle at me if this is the case

A few of the breed names have changed. Having seen the files, I think Willow is going by the filenames for each breed rather than the names Whimsy gave the breeds

In regards to breed names, I went with what I thought best represented them, and mainly the file names yes. Because the canines have more specific breed names 'Chihuhua' for example, so I thought 'Ragdoll' would suit better as a breed name than 'Miniature',matching the canine naming style, if that makes sense? C:
I kept a couple to their old names though, so I can see why there'd be confusion.

And am I alright to understand you're happy with just the image being changed of 088? I can change the gender just as easily if you wish. I'll get onto colouring it today

Proposed Breeding System:

In breeding season:

.Everyone may submit one breeding.
.There will be 1-4 babies.
.They will have a baby image.
.No item needed.

Out of season:

.Bed item is needed to breed out of season.
.There will be 2-3 babies.
.They will have a baby image.
.Catteries/Kennels will get one bed a month free.


That way the bed item doesn't go to waste.
Most people want baby images, however they take more time, so there won't be any huge litters or multiple breedings, unlike with the descriptions.
This may change in the future, but I don't want to swamp myself and PM, or end up with a confused mess like last time.

Does this all sound alright?

Also, in regards to catteries, if people still wish to continue their cattery (or create a kennel when the dogs are released), then I don't see why not.

.You should have at least three "A" quality examples of the breed you're focusing on (you can focus on more than one, but must have three examples of each breed).
.You should create either a website (webs.com would be fine), or a detailed post of standards and terms in the notary office.
.Catteries/Kennels will be able to claim one bed a month.


Beds will still be available in bribes and events for those that don't wish to bother with a cattery/kennel (which is perfectly fine!).

I think the breeding system sounds perfect. I do something similar for the Okibi too, have a set system going but also have breeding items out there so people can breed 'out of turn' if they get an item. Seems to work pretty well!

Kadana, I imported that litter, with the two cats that are the same, and didn't want to put the extra one to waste, which is why it got loaded in as part of that litter.  Figured you would be okay with either keeping it as your own or trading it away, if this is not the case I am sorry

Willow and PM, thank you so much!  I know you are working very hard, and I do appreciate it that you took the time to fix things for me.  Willow, yes, I was merely wanting the correct coloration, I didn't care about gender either way, but I see you did switch it back to the initial gender (they (my cats) were the first things I went to look at when I got home from work lol)  Anyway, male, female, I don;t mind, I got the red tabby and am happy

I'm sorry PM if It seemed I was complaining about an "extra" I wasn't I promise.  I'd never ever mind having "extra" kitties lol  I did think that an extra had been colored by mistake initially, but that my red mackeral boy was "lost" somewhere, I just wanted the red found and it had never been done before.  I was hoping that after all this time you two could find it, and you did, yay! *hugs*

On the note of "extra" kitties, I see a red spotted tabby sphinx in my pets area, is he another extra kitty, or is he someone elses pet that wandered over for a little visit?   I want to be sure before gleefully thinking of a name for him, because he is quite a handsome boy and I know if he were mine I would be wanting him to come back home

Breeding info sounds fine, I do like the way you have a season, but can still breed out of season, it's one of the things I love about the new Okibi breeding system.  So that also makes me a happy Kadana to see  

I think you guys have done a wonderful job of getting everything imported and found, and sorted properly.  Since I just DID finish getting all of my agency stuff imported and what not, I am amazed at how fast you guys got things completed.  I feel so good about the shop now, and can;t wait to see future events *hugs both of you*

The breeding system also sounds awesome! I like the idea of having both in and out of season breeding systems. I was going to vote for 1 or 2, as I worry about the extra work coming from coloring babies (because... well, I'm fairly certain these are going to be very popular, lol!)

I echo this! I know from experience how much time and work it takes to make all the thumbnails and import all the little critters, and you guys had a double-tough job because you had to sort through that giant FCFC breeding season and all sorts of other stuff to get this shop off the ground.
