I was thinking mainly randomized for the main shows, with +Bonuses for cats that already have ribbons, and -Negatives for "B" and less quality cats, if that seems alright? :3
Although I may run some shows that require owner interaction, i.e races based on dice rolls, or photo hunts. Fun themed shows at halloween, like best costume |D
All of which will earn different ribbons (to go in the agency info box)

I'm curious, how would a cat or dog be less then A quality?

Via Inbreeding or Crossbreeding C:

Say, a Ragdoll x Scottish Fold would have a litter of "B" quality kittens (their adult linearts would just be a mixture of the parents' breeds).
And if say, that B quality cat then bred with a Persian, the kittens would be "C" quality.
