Personality: Calanthe is a very quiet Fae who prefers the company of her trusted few. Big groups tend to make her nervous and throw on a couple protective 'masks'. She is most comfortable around her mate, Yruvian, their son Shadow Myth, and her herd. She is also the adoptive mother of Tarou, the herd's dear Hound Fae.

Skills: Where Solar Ray abounds in natural magical talent, Calanthe lacks it. She has a fairly high purity but is now very skilled in the other areas. It is quite obvious from her behavior that she is not a fighter and her abilities seem to reflect this to some degree. Her mental control is low so her element often acts differently than how she wants it to. Due to her low mental control she sometimes finds it hard to figure out how something or someone will act in response to something she does and she has very little spacial sense. Though Calanthe is high enough with her element to manipulate she doesn't and as such has never really found out what she can do.

History: Little is known of Calanthe's past before meeting Reincarnate and his herd. She doesn't like to think about it much and likes talking about it even less. What is know is that she was once in love with another fae, but the love was one sided.

She joined Reincarnate and the others after leaving her old herd. During the Wintersday Journey (2006) she met Yruvian. At first she was reluctant to get close to him, in fear of repeating her past mistake. However both were attracted to each other and soon became mates. Together they had Shadow Myth, who stays with his father's herd.

Calanthe, on Halloween (2007), gained an adoptive son who she named Tarou. At first she was a little frightened of the young colt but she came to love him as much as if he was her real son. He is not the brightest but definitely considers her his mommy.

Calanthe participated in the Tournament (2007) and stayed behind for the following Wintersday Journey (2008).
